Smoothing of Deep Wrinkles

While Botox will relax muscles that cause wrinkling, some lines may be too deep to correct with Botox alone.

In this case we often use dermal fillers, which are thick gels that absorb water, hydrate the skin from below, and plump the area under the wrinkle.

Carbossi therapy can also be used to physically lift wrinkles, improve oxygenation and blood flow, and thicken the skin.

For even deeper and more dramatic improvement in deep wrinkles, as well as treating deep discoloration (including melasma), the latest technology is available at our clinic, in the form of the CO2 fractional ablative laser.  This type of laser produces excellent results because of how deeply it can penetrate into the skin compared to other lasers.  At the same time, it is much safer than older CO2 lasers because it leaves areas of intact skin around each laser pulse, allowing it to heal rapidly and reducing the chance of causing excessive lightening of the skin.
